Thoughts From Our Pastor
Dear PPPC -
Thank you for your flexibility last week as worship moved online due to the Nor’Easter; and thank you to Pastor Eileen for leading worship. I pray that your homes are without significant damage and that everyone is safe. Thank you also for all of the love, prayers, cards, notes, and phone calls in the time since my sister died. Thank you, too, for the beautiful arrangement you sent to the funeral. I am grateful beyond words.

One of the gifts of our congregation has long been hospitality. Hospitality, of course, is the friendly and generous reception, care, and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. Christian hospitality, more specifically, is a spiritual practice rooted in loving strangers and reflecting God’s grace. I once heard someone talking about this idea of Christian hospitality and churches, and they phrased it like this: What does it look like to be the welcoming committee of Christ?
What does it look like for PPPC to be a welcoming committee of Christ?
I actually want to know your answers….tell me on Sunday, email them in, or call the church office and leave a message.
And for your personal reflection, what is your role on that welcoming committee?
See you in church.
Yours for the journey,
Pastor Molly
