Music

Karen Baron, Minister of Music, directs all three of our musical groups. The Chancel Choir sings most Sunday mornings from September through June. It is open to all who are interested in praising God through song; the ability to read music is helpful, but not essential. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings, 9:00 a.m. - 10 a.m.

The Handbell Choir presents a program of handbell music on selected Sunday-morning services throughout the year. We have twelve ringers, with several more expressing interest in joining. We hope to expand to 3 octaves of bells this year. Rehearsals are Monday evenings, 6:15-7:15 p.m.

The Recorder Consort continues to rehearse regularly. These lovely Baroque instruments of various sizes are sometimes a challenge to our musicality, but the rehearsal sessions are a wonderful source of musical fellowship!

We welcome new friends to join us in either or both choirs, even if it is only for the summer—or a season!
