Serve and Give — Perpetual Winter Coat Drive

Hello Friends!

The Deacons have decided to sponsor a Perpetual Winter Coat Drive for people living in the tent cities or in their cars. The need is so great during those cold, cold days and nights. A bin will be in the North Hall at all times. You are not being asked to purchase anything. Simply bring in any coats, blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, or socks that you no longer need. We will see that the items get to those who need them.

As always, thanks for all you do!

“Antiheroes of the Bible” - Adult Vacation Bible School

ADULT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Tuesdays at 11:00 in the Chittick Lounge or via Zoom

August 11, 18 and 25

Theme: “Antiheroes of the Bible”

Often our Biblical studies examine the virtues of the saints and give only a passing glance to the sinners in the story. This year we will focus on the less savory elements of the Bible stories. Who are these culprits and felons? Why are their stories told? What can we learn from their narratives? Some of the evil-doers ultimately become righteous followers of God. Other villains remain in shameful opposition to God and to community. We will examine some of the miscreants in both the Old and New Testaments. Plan to come for one or all sessions Bring a Bible and a friend. Pastor Eileen will facilitate.

Fall Field Trip - Reserve Your Spot Now!

Fall Field Trip - Reserve Your Spot Now!

We know, we know, it's only February! Most of us are dreaming about summer, we're not even thinking about the Fall.

However, PPPC is planning a Fall Field Trip to The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ. The Seeing Eye is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to enhance the independence, dignity, and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye® dogs.

We'll be going on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

We will carpool from the church, arriving in Morristown by 10:00am. The program runs for about an hour and a half and includes 1 mile of walking. We can bring up to 20 folks, so space is limited. After the visit, we'll share a meal at a Morristown restaurant.

Please RSVP your attendance to the church office by March 1 to reserve your spot. More about The Seeing Eye can be found by clicking here.
