Dear PPPC,

Last Sunday, worship concluded with a new (to us) benediction. 

"Life is short, and we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those who travel with us. So be swift to love, and make haste to be kind. And the blessing of God, who made us, who loves us, and who journeys with us, be with you now and forever."

No, I did not make it up. 

It is adapted from the philosophical writings of Swiss poet and moralist Henri-Frédéric Amiel (1821–1881). A timely reminder, for the living of these days.
